Confinement

When i knew I'm pregnant, 1st thing i paid deposit was for my one month confinement. I chosen Blissful Postnatal Care Centre. Now i miss my confinement life there. 

We discharged from hospital on 30/4/2020 and the in charge of the confinement centre went to pick me and babies to confinement centre. They also brought me and babies for follow up in Klinik Kesihatan following our appointment. 

I had 5 meals a day which included breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper. Everyday nurses will send the meals to my room. I just be queen wait them to serve me hehehe.

I'm taking a sharing room so husband is not allowed to stay, but no mamas checked in during my stay so I'm alone in the room.

They made this small babies's face shield to protect babies whenever going to
hospital or clinic for appointments

Proud daddy came visited us everyday. Then called nurse to bring them up to room for us. We also have some diy project in the room for mamas. We did this special charm with my twins' baby hair and breastmilk. People did 1 i need did 2 haha.

We can also view our babies via cctv apps.

I also celebrate my first mother's day at confinement centre. Bei bought me mother's day cake. 

On mother's day, we had diy project too. Did these boxes with babies' baby hair, breast milk and umbilical cord as mother's day gift.

We also got this mother bag as gift. Nurses came in our room to surprises the mothers. 

So happy to call them ours.

My mum came visited for the first time after 2 weeks as they don't allow visitor for the 1st two weeks other than father of babies. 

Daddy also have to learn to bath the babies at the last week of our stay. I also learnt la. But i only started to bath my babies when they are almost 5 months now. All these months bei bathe them. Thank you bei.

During my stay, Jared also diagnosed with hernia after dr checking him during appointment. So they schedule him to admit and need to push back the "usus". Confinement centre in charge also advised me to seek another dr to confirm if he really need the operation since he is still so small. But the dr in KPJ also advised us to proceed what GH arranged. So they sent us back to GH again to admit him. Finally discharge after 1 night. His operation post can be read here. 

Finally till the last week of confinement. Sad cos leaving my queen life soon, happy cos i can wash hair liao.

Mum

• long sleeve clothes (unlimited), socks, hats
• free wash for all the clothes and breast pump accessories / breastmilk container
• bertangas
• 24 hours aircond, unifi, tv with astro channel
• 5 meals a day

• nurses to check your blood pressure, temperature, delivery wound
• wash wound when needed
• check your breast and massage for you when needed

Babies

• 24 hours caring by nurses
• unlimited transport to and from hospital / clinic

I miss my confinement life.

Jared's 1st operation

On 5/7/2020, me and Jared admitted to the hospital for his scheduled inguinal hernia operation the next day. We reached around 830am. The ward was empty, only us. 

Registered ourselves then stayed at the ward. Nurses came to took Jared away for blood test and drip needle head installed. Nurses asked me to stay in ward as they only do the procedure in the treatment room next to the ward. All i heard was Jared's screaming and crying. Poor little boy. When he is done, he is sobbing without sound already. 

We were put into this cage bed to avoid baby falling. Luckily big enough that i can sleep together too.

Slowly more patients checked in at the ward with the same hernia issue.

I was told by the nurse to start his fasting at 4, its actually 4am, i heard 4pm, guilty die for fasting him for nothing for 6 hours. Im sorry son. Quickly breastfeed him and he sleep soundly.

He was the 1st case for operation out of 6 cases. 730am we were called to change into operation gown. So kelian to see him wearing a oversize gown on his small body. He cried when we went in the OT. Dr put him to sleep and i have to go outside and wait. Bei wait together with me.

After 1 and 1/2 hour, nurse called outside the OT "Jared's mum". Quickly went in and my poor baby just woke up after the operation. Were told to breastfeed him, he cried so weakly. Dr and nurses comforting him when im in. 

After a while we were sent back to ward. Dr asked to feed him again when he was awake fully.

 Stayed another night and we were allow to discharge the next morning.

Birth Story

Hello all. Hello July. Last update was in March, and yeah i gave birth to a pair of twin boys on 27/4/2020. On 26/4/2020 night, was playing pubg with husband n bro n wife. Went toilet half way n realized got pinkish blood. Called hospital, the nurse said no pain n fresh blood nonid come to hospital. So after an hour got blood clog, so went hospital directly with my hospital bag.

Dr checked and suggested to overnight to monitor. Due to MCO no one allowed to accompany. Just changed into my hospital clothes n lay on bed n my water broke on bed lol. So had my emergency c section to give birth my twin. Dr checked and said already 6cm, but i can't feel any pain.

On 28/4/2020, nurse taught how to extract breast milk, then bring the breast milk to the baby room to feed baby. I can down from bed and went toilet already, so I went baby room to treasure hunt looking for my twins cos the Dr didn't show me my twins in the labour room, so I don't know how my twins look like. Found both with my name on the baby cots and confirmed my babies cos both look likes husband. 

Finally discharged on 30/4/2020 and started my honeymoon at confinement centre alone with the twin without my husband. 

Celebrated my 1st mother's day at confinement center. Husband bought cakes for me from my besties's cafe. 

Blessed with 2 boys.

On 19/5/2020, both boys had their follow up and found out 1st twin had hernia issue. Need to admit immediately to do some procedure to push back the 肠. Also consult private doctor at KPJ before admitted to Hospital Miri. Discharged the next day.

Finally a month of confinement ended which i missed so much, but also cant wait to bring my twin back to our own home. 1st night was nightmare for us. They cried since we reached home till the next morning 3am. We dunno what they wants. I burst out crying to my husband telling him I'm so tired.

On 30/5/2020, husband went out to send full moon gift boxes to our family and friends.

Slowly we knew what the twin wants and can rest better than 1st week.
