If I am the planner for the event, I will plan as below . . .

I will purchase some decorative balloons to decorate the venue and make it more happening. Decorate with these fairy light balloons, just make the event more pretty and photo worthy.

Birthday cake will be orange and blue color also along with Lazada's Mascot on it and of course the wording 6.

Marudi 2 days 1 night

Finally got the opportunity to go Marudi with Bei and his relatives for a cousin's wedding. In case you don't know, Marudi is a quiet town situated inland from Miri on the Baram River in Miri Division, Sarawak, Malaysia, around 2 hours plus drive from Miri.

We started our road trip around 830am after breakfast. Overall the road was fine only with some part of it with holes and rocks. 

Paid RM1 for the ferry ride.

Checked in to our hotel, where we stayed for a night. Hotel rooms were mostly booked by bei's relatives since everyone were here for the wedding. The bellboy saw my bei, he said you must be Kho's family right, you have that face LOL.

Drove around in town after checked in and bathe. We got 1 room for brother in law too.

Where we'll attend wedding dinner.

Stopped by to have some Marudi Ice Cream.

Went bei's aunty's home to have lunch. And the groom and bride reached a while after us.

My bei helped an elderly to get her food.

Bei's relatives reached around 2pm, called us to join them for late lunch.

Napped for a while then get ready for wedding dinner.

This is the first time i attended wedding in a hall, without aircond, bei super regret wearing lone sleeve cos he sweat like mad haha. And they served mixed pork soup, super yummy, i refilled twice. The catering was from a restaurant nearby and they cooked and sent over to the hall.

And they served Nestle Drumstick Ice cream for dessert ! So special lah.. Food were nice.

Next morning, we woke early and checked out since bei's relatives said moving from Marudi back to Miri around 9am. 

Breakfast at Pasar Food Court. Had Marudi Kueh Tiaw. 

Slowly the relatives joined. Some we just consistently met them there.

Then the elderly said lets visit another aunty since we're all here.

After done, aunty asked us to stay for lunch before back to Miri. So eat again haha.

Went Ban Hiong to buy kueh and cookies back to Miri. Ban Hiong belonged to Bei's aunty.

Short but fun trip together with all the relatives. 

CNY 2018

15 days of CNY, ended super fast. Nothing much special this year, no lion dance to our home, bei super upset. But what to do.

We went visiting and visiting and friends and family came our home too.

CNY eve went my parent's home to take yearly family photo, then went in law's home for steamboat reunion dinner. My FIL special edition charcoal steamboat.

Brought notty back to in law's home too, with her cheongsam.

Enjoyed red wine with SIL hehe.

Back home around 9pm to prepare angpows and wait for 12am to play fireworks and firecrackers !

 12am strike, the sky full of colors and imagine many money flying too. Haha.

1st day of CNY, went my parent's home first to have mee sua.

Then went in law's. They're having open house this year. All the below foods cooked by my MIL and SILs.

Lion dance visited ! 

Then went visiting at bei's relative home before to our home. The only time my home full of people s are during CNY. All the Kho's will come together, and my home not big, immediately full house hehehe.

Went Ah Yen's and Doreen's home ! Cute Little Chloe. After I gave her angpow, she ran to her mum and told me it's same as her mum's casing while showing me. HAHA.

 Attended a wedding dinner with mum and dad. Me & bei represent my aunt.

On the 5th day of CNY is my colleague's wedding. Both of them are my colleagues. Woke earlier to go the bride's home before to groom's home. And they even have lion dance performance. =_= Win liao loh haha.

My noobers visited at night around 1030pm. We're all exhausted dy look at our face haha. 

CNY ended super fast. Time to get back to work !
