Last week, I received an email from Zalora MY, asking if I'm interested for an one-off collaboration. Of course I said yes immediately. It's a good opportunity for me. And after the collaboration, they asked if I'm interested to join their latest project which is ZALORA ZCOOP Publication Malaysia. 

ZALORA ZCOOP Publication is a community in which writers who are passionate and knowledgeable about fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment come together to produce insightful, current, original, and engaging articles that readers will love and be compelled to share.

My daily beauty routine

I'm turning 30 next month, and for this age, our skin is no longer like baby's skin, smooth and fair. We need to put some effort on our skin especially face. 

I used to be a really lazy person which I can go out without any make up, any sunblock or skincare. Just out with dark circle eyes, uneven eyebrows, dark spots etc. I have to accept the truth that for my age now, I cannot be lazy like before anymore. So I slowly started on my skincare / make up routine to make sure I have that beauty looks before I go out. Not really a beauty but try my best not to look worse. 

Everyday after shower, I will put on Nature Republic Aloe Vera Smoothing Gel and that's it. Then started with my simple make up. I use Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer for my dark circle eyes. I have very serious dark circle eyes since I'm young. And this concealer is super easy to use. 

I don't really trim my eyebrows outside, I trim it at home myself and use eyebrow powder daily to have better brow. I use Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper.



I started to have cracked lips since 28yrs old. I use these two lip balms for my daily routine. I'm still not used to apply the red lipsticks like those beautiful girls yet. Just a little shine on my lips to look better.

After all the above basic makeup routine, I will spray a layer of sunscreen on my face. Just to avoid more dark spots on my face. I use L'Oreal Dermo Expertise Uv Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist as my sunscreen.



In my make up pouch, I have all types of make up but rarely use them on daily basis, only special occasion. I need to improve more on my skincare routine as my fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes getting worse. That's sign of aging.

For make up remover, heavy makeup I will use and for simple make up I use Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water. All in 1.


I also use sheet masks on weekly basis. Mostly moisturizing mask. Sister Diary, Bioglo etc.

For hair, I used Pantene Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Pantene 3 Minute Anti Hair Fall Conditioner, to have more smooth and healthy hair.



Will try my best to learn more to look better and how to have the natural beauty looks.

Regular Eyes Check Up

Yesterday, 23rd July 2017, I went for my 1st eye check up with my husband, brother and his gf. Mum helped us to make appointment at 9am. So right after our morning mass, we rushed to have our quick breakfast and went Miri City Medical Centre for registration. After we done registration, we were called into the consultation room to check on our eyes sight, to see the numbers from projector. 

Then the nurse asked us to come back around 11am-12noon as Dr were having operation. So we went out for a drink and came back at 1030am. 

We waited till 1230pm then only called into the consultation room. Checked and checked. All of us had healthy eyes except me. I had congenital cataract but just a small one. No need to operate etc just ignore as per the Dr. 

Reached home and fainted immediately. Too tired. Remember to check your eyes too, not only blood test. Contact details as shown in the last picture, remember to call and make your appointment. 

Child Sponsorship

I started child sponsorship program in December 2014. End of last year, I'm thinking to stop my sponsorship program as RM65 a month is quiet hard for me as everything increase price, life getting harder and harder. That RM65 means a lot for me, might be my breakfast money for a week or two.

I emailed the person in charge and told them I would like to stop the sponsorship program. They gave me an option that I can on hold my sponsorship for 6 months and decided again after 6 months whether to continue or not. Of course I accepted. 

So recently they emailed me to follow up on me, whether to continue or not. My heart felt really hard to let go this program as I had been mailing with my sponsored child for 2 years +. I don't want him to feel that I don't want him, not sure if he will know if i stop the program. So they agreed to lower down my contribution to slightly lower. 

I also discuss with my husband, telling him the whole story. He asked me to just continue it, he knew I felt sad if I stop this program. He saw how happy I am everytime I received letters from my sponsored child. He asked me to just continue and he believed God will protect us and bless us with better life. No matter how poor we are, they're more poor than us. 

So, I'm proudly remain as a Child Sponsor again.

Kota Kinabalu Noobers Trip 18-22/5/2017

Last year May, we randomly booked our air tickets to KK, Sabah for year 2017 ! So here we are !

18/5/2017

We landed safely on time and collected our rent car at the airport entrance.

Rent Car : SAGA FLX @ RM 510 nett for 4 days 3 nights. Paid another RM200 nett deposit upon collection, will refund RM200 when return.

We went Gaya street for early lunch @ 金沙園生肉麵 while waiting ailing flying from KL to KK, landed at 11am, delayed around 1/2 hour.

Picked up ailing at airport then went for another lunch at Fook Yuen Cafe & Bakery. Bread and egg tarts okay, others soso.

We stayed at apartment booked in AirBnB. A very cosy place with beautiful simple interior design. 2 bedrooms with 3 beds, can accommodate 5 persons. :) It's located at Lorong Bunga Kiambang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. They used self check in so we didn't meet the owner in between our stay. Water pressure very low since we're at 2nd floor, cannot 2 persons bath together. No water at all. 

RM 324 nett for 2 nights

Went Imago KK for some shopping.

Had RM 12.80 per scoop ice cream at Camaco, too pricey. First and last time.

Went October Cafe for a drink.

Had our dinner at Little Italy. Foods were nice but very expensive. Also first and last time.

Today is island hoping day ! We sign up the package to 2 islands - Sapi and Manukan.

Island package - RM37 / pax
Rent Snorkeling sets - RM10 / pax
Banana Boat - RM30 / pax
Island Entrance Fee - RM 3 / pax (paid once for both islands)

Get on speed boat on 930 am and headed to Sapi Island. Snorkeling and banana boat !

Only managed to take few photos of the fishes in the sea. I bought the water proof cover for my iphone and my nex. Still worried the covers not so water proof though. Luckily everything okay. Sea wasn't that clear too.

We supposed to switch to Manukan island at 12noon, but the banana boat man delayed our time. We requested to play banana boat at 11am, but waited until 12noon. And not only us, but a group of youngsters (8 persons) and a group of malay family (4 persons). So we have to wait all of them to play banana boat before we can back to Sapi Island. 

It was my 1st time playing banana boat. The boat man will asked if we wanted to "terbalik" our banana boat. Of course, my friends all said yes. He drove us to the middle of the sea and start playing around 5 minutes, then "terbalik" us into the sea. It's quite scary because I don't know whats under me in the sea. Shark? Jellyfish? Lol. It's quite fun. 

By the time we back to Sapi Island already 1230pm. Called the lady at Jesselton Point counter and told her what happened, she contacted the boat man back to pick us and sent us to Manukan Island.

Back to Jesselton Point @ 2pm. Went lunch @ Fatt Kee Seafood Restaurant.

I ordered the original soup without tomato, I requested only fish slice and fish balls, charged me RM 13.80 per bowl. Waiter said because I select which ingredients I want so it's more expensive. 

Back to our apartment to bath, wash all the dirty salty clothes and rest. We went movie at Suria KK. 29+1. A story about a woman who is almost 30 years old. 30 is a scary numbers for some women. Followed by the symptom of aging from a teenager to a 30+. 30 is just a number anyway for me, see how you treat it only. Life goes on.



After movie, went for seafood dinner at 大茄來海鮮餐廳.

Kundasang today ! Breakfast at Kedai Kopi Jeong Hin (永兴茶室). Wanted to try their buns but not available. Ordered mee kolok and coffee / lang coffee.

Took around 1 and 1/2 hour to reach Pekan Nabalu.

Signature smile from movie 29+1.

Then we went Desa Dairy Farm since our check in time is after 2pm.

Queue up to buy milk and gelato ! Long queue.

Where the cows kena squeeze milk hahaha. We came at the wrong time, milk squeezing only start at 2pm.

Enjoyed our milk and gelato at the viewing bay viewing nothing.

We also went feeding the baby cow and goat.

Went to cow barn to see cows. All so huge.

Heavy rain after this. Went Kundasang to have our late lunch at KFC and buy veges for tonight steamboat at our hut. 

The road to Little Hut is not very good, stones everywhere, make sure to be careful when drive. Reached our beautiful hut after the bad road. Checked in at 2pm+. We're staying at Little Hut (Bizza Hut) @ Kundasang. 

When we reached and done our check in, this is our view.

As it's raining and we don't want to go out anymore, so we started our steamboat dinner at 345pm.

Night time, after everyone bath, we squeezed in the sofa bed and watch movie together.

I set my alarm to wake up at 530am to see the beautiful Mount KK.

Weather is super cold in the morning at only 6 celcius.

 Continue our steamboat leftover last night for breakfast hehe.

Clear and clean everything then checked out. Otw down to town stopped at Kundasang for photos.

Reached Gaya street around 1030am for Sunday Market !

After Sunday Market, we had lunch then check in our stay @ The Crown Borneo Hotel. Room is small, bed is small too. They gave us super single and single bed for 3 persons.

Ailing done her packing then we went Ice Dream for tea before send her to the airport.



We ordered only a set of waffle with ice cream to try because we can't wait to go our next cafe opposite Ice Dream - Furball Heaven !!!!!

They have 6 in house dogs welcoming us and walking around the cafe. Guests can bring their own dogs over too. Super cute. All of them are very friendly, and very minta manja.

Sent ailing to airport, we went Imago KK again for shopping and dinner. We had Sushi Zanmai for dinner. Cheap price with good quality of foods.

Back to hotel after dinner and went for foot massage opposite our hotel. We had 1 hour foot massage. And I slept through out haha. Too tired.

Checked out hotel and had breakfast under our hotel. Roti Canai. Our flight to Miri is on 845am and reached around 925am.
