Run away ? Or theif

Yesterday Notty our shih tzu run away from home once again. Reached home and the cage was empty. Notty went missing. All we saw were these :

It's really hard to believe a small dog can did all these. And run away. 

So we drove out to search for her. Calling her name everywhere but no response. So we felt upset and went home. Saw her climbing in our neighbour's gate. We guess she must be recognised the wrong house. 

Thanks God she is fine. Bei helped her bath and suspected she went into the jungle behind our home area as there is leaves etc on her fur. 

Is it really a normal run away? Or thief ? As a small dog it's hard to believe she made the cage like that.

Her poodle taken by thief after the break in. Was so worried and told bei. I hope Notty will be fine at home there. 

We went and bought the netting last night and installed immediately.
